As we conclude the Thanksgiving holiday, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible strides we’ve made as a community. This month, we witnessed lives transformed, dreams realized, and futures brightened through the power of education, support, and generosity.
We’re proud to share that Fortified Academy not only empowered 16 new CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) learners to begin their journey toward a rewarding career but also celebrated the achievement of 2 new CDL drivers, who successfully completed their training and earned their CDLA License . These milestones are more than just pieces of paper they represent new opportunities for stable, fulfilling employment in industries that are crucial to our economy.
But our work didn’t stop there. During the holiday season, we were able to extend our support to families in need. Thanks to our generous donors and partners, we provided five full turkey dinners complete with all the traditional sides to ensure that families could come together to share a special, memorable meal. Giving back to our community is an essential part of our mission, and moments like these remind us of the importance of lifting one another up.
We’re also excited to announce the launch of our Colorado Gives campaign, which aims to fuel our mission of providing CDL training, job placement, and other essential programs. By contributing to this campaign, you’re helping to create opportunities for individuals to build sustainable careers and strengthen our community. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the next generation of CDL drivers and skilled professionals.
