No. Your CDL permit is issued by your state of residence. The Emerge Pre-Apprentice Program includes the ELDT program which is required by FMCSA as well as extensive training to prepare you to take the state sanctioned tests for your CDL permit.

Currently, the first four weeks of Related Instruction is not paid. The remaining 47 weeks is a paid internship.
Yes. You will need to get 2000 hours in 47 weeks, so this will be full-time employment.
