What an incredible day of filming and storytelling as we captured the future of transportation workforce development in Colorado and a model that can strengthen transportation training and workforce development programs across the nation.
Fortified Academy was honored to participate in filming that highlights Colorado’s first-of-its-kind Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP), providing students the opportunity to earn college credits while preparing for high-demand careers in the transportation industry. By connecting education, registered apprenticeships, college credit opportunities, industry partnerships, and employment pathways, this innovative model is creating a blueprint that can strengthen the transportation workforce in communities across all 50 states.
During the filming, the founders reflected on the journey that brought Fortified Academy to this moment. One message continued to resonate throughout the interviews:
“FAITH & GRIT build different. When there was no blueprint, we built the blueprint. When no permission was given, we moved forward anyway—guided by purpose, driven by service, and committed to creating opportunities where none existed before.”
Fortified Academy was never built by following a traditional model. It was built through faith, perseverance, innovation, and an unwavering belief that workforce development can transform lives, strengthen families, and create lasting economic mobility. Today, that vision is helping shape the future of transportation workforce development in Colorado and beyond.
Film day was truly amazing.
This experience exceeded anything we could have imagined. What began as an opportunity to showcase our program became a powerful reminder of why this work matters. Throughout the day, we witnessed stories of perseverance, opportunity, growth, and transformation that reflect the heart of Fortified Academy’s mission.
The cameras captured more than CDL training. They captured purpose. They captured lives being changed, barriers being broken, and futures being built. They captured the power of partnerships working together to create pathways to economic mobility, career advancement, and generational impact.
From the founders interview, to the classroom to behind the wheel, the story being told is one of innovation, transportation workforce development, and lasting impact. It is a story of what can happen when education, industry, government, and community partners unite around a shared vision to create meaningful opportunities for individuals, families, and communities.
As a leader in transportation workforce development, Fortified Academy is proud to help redefine what career training looks like by connecting education, registered apprenticeships, industry partnerships, college credit opportunities, and employment pathways into one seamless journey for students.
