Fortified Academy’s apprenticeship programs combine hands-on experience with classroom learning—both on the job and off. With opportunities in Over-the-Road CDL Driving and Construction CDL Driving, we offer valuable pathways for students to build careers and for employers to develop skilled talent.
What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a structured training program where individuals learn a trade or profession through a combination of on-the-job experience and classroom instruction. It offers participants the opportunity to earn wages while gaining practical skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Related Instruction (RI) – We offer competency based coursework and skill building specific to occupation
- On-the-job Learning (OJL/OJT) – On-the-job workplace experience with an employer
- Wage Increases – Two built-in wage increases, based on competency development in related job functions
- Nationally Registered Program – Department of Labor (DOL) registered apprenticeship completers will receive a credential of completion, as well as opportunities for additional academic and industry certifications
