What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a structured training program where individuals learn a trade or profession through a combination of on-the-job experience and classroom instruction. It offers participants the opportunity to earn wages while gaining practical skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Related Instruction (RI) – We offer competency based coursework and skill building specific to occupation
On-the-job Learning (OJL/OJT) – On-the-job workplace experience with an employer
Wage Increases – Two built-in wage increases, based on competency development in related job functions
Nationally Registered Program – Department of Labor (DOL) registered apprenticeship completers will receive a credential of completion, as well as opportunities for additional academic and industry certifications
