Registered Apprenticeship

Our USDOL Registered Apprenticeship Program in Commercial Driving combines paid, on-the-job training with structured instruction to develop skilled, safety-focused Class A CDL professionals. Registered through the U.S. Department of Labor, apprentices earn wages while mastering ELDT requirements, vehicle operations, safety compliance, and real-world fleet experience under expert mentorship.

 

Our Building Small Business Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is launching soon to help CDL graduates establish compliant Owner Operator businesses. Apprentices will receive step-by-step guidance on entity formation, DOT authority, insurance, permitting, contracts, and financial systems.

Requirements

  • 18+ Years of Age
  • Class A CDL
  • Clean MVR
  • Background check
  • DOT Physical
  • Pass drug and alcohol test

  • 28 Earned Credit hours with Emily Griffith Technical College
